First Snow of the trip!!
















Hi Guys well what a thrill the first snowfall of our trip came overnight and transformed Duisburg into a winter wonderland, we visited the local shops for a gift to give to Andreas and Stephanie for their wonderful hospitality, in the afternoon we met up with my Tante Maria, Angelika, Karin and Verner and visited the gravesites of my relatives that have passed away, Mum we laid some beautiful flowers on Oma's grave for you and said a prayer for all of us, afterwards we had some coffee and cake at Karins before a farewell BBQ with Andreas and Family, we leave for Salzburg at 5am tomorrow so the next blog will be from Austria, see you then

    Hi Ralf and Sam.How nice for you to see the beauty the snow creates in the winter.Tante Maria looks very frail,She is the last of that Generation.Thank you for going to Cemetery for me it means a lot.It would have looked lovely in the snow,bet you have not seen Cemeteries like that before.cant see the keys now but i am not crying ok ok have a great trip to Salzburg more snow for sure.Love you both 000+++

    Ralfie and Sam - our hearts broke when reading about visiting the graves and then broke again when we read Mums comments. Big/Huge hugs coming to you both from us.
    We did love seeing your first snowfall.... somehow Sam - your name on the car reminds us of Stephs photos of NZ when she wrote her name in the snow.... Enjoy you train trip.

    Mum i love the name on the car, i see that your not as mature as you act. And dad, lokking very very tanned, im proud. I had christmas with Claire tom and natalie yesterdya and got some awesome presents, i miss you guys a lot, but seb's been awesome.
    I get my OP on Monday, and ill lett you know how i go after i get it. Have fun in the snow, it looks beautiful and cold.
    I miss you guys,
    Oh and p.s. dad i hope your using your dairy that i got you, i cant wait to hear the things you wirte in it.
