Hey there Ralf & Sam - at the Qantas club awaiting a flight to Bathurst. Last stint before leaving for OS. Hope you have a wonderful New Year in your hot air balloon. Things are going well at home - I believe Bas was working out some of the logistics with Gerv re: painting yesterday - so I expect all is under control.
ReplyDeleteThe kids both have social function for New Years so probably haven't been on-line - not to mention the phone lines have been just dropping out over the past couple of days.......yes - you can guess - it rained.
Hey - loved the horse and buggy - you'll have to tell us where that was - it looks spectacular.
Rufus is doing well - he has been even known to play a couple of rounds of stick in the past few days at feed time.
Have a great time - won't be chatting to you for a couple of days.
Love
Alex

ReplyDeleteHi Sam and Ralf happy new year, pitty about the low of your new years eve, but then you would have been well rested for your ballon ride. After all the spectacular temples and the vast size of them all you will find your home very tiny when you get back. The buggies are cute.Enjoy your last days in the sun till it is back to winter big time. Love you and hope to hear from you soon.Mum and Dad
ReplyDeleteWell - it is the eve of New Years day and it has been a hugely busy one here. Today was Alex's first day off work in 11 days since the start of the festive season. We finally went out together to celebrate New Years and Christmas. Caught up with our good friends Sandie and Adeline at Spoons in the Valley. It was a lovely morning.
ReplyDeleteThings are looking decidedly beautiful here with the rain. It is almost luminescent. I am going to take some photo's in the morning light to see if I can do it justice and post it on the blog for you.
Alex is now to Bathurst for her final stint there until Monday. It is not long until she leaves for OS. We have half packed her gear - albeit to say it is one room fairly much cataloged. She is limited to 60 kgs - but remember - 20 of that is actual military webbing and protection - the rest she will pick up in country.
We have started to organise the house for the renovation - so that is coming along nicely. So - when you get home - the front door will most certainly be the back door or simply leaning on the window sill in the lounge.
Hope the ballooning was all that you wanted it to be.
