Hello everyone we are now safely in Salzburg after a 6 hour train trip ( I hate Trains!! ) the hotel is right outside the train station which is great and i have used my travel money card for the first time with no problems, we woke at 4am to drive 2.5 hours to Frankfurt then the train trip so it is a bit tiring but Salzburg is soooo beautiful i willl send more pictures tgomorrow when we go on the sound of music tour ( Yay ) but for now here are some snaps from the train window!

Oh my goodness it looks beautiful! Cannot wait to see photos from the Sound of Music tour! Sandra, try not to sing the whole time!!!! On a home note - I went to the AFL shop for the first time yesterday. Spent $170! Bub and I are going to be the best dressed supporters!! Keep having fun! Love to you both. Em

ReplyDeleteWe hope you got a bit of rest on the train,that is the worst from getting from A to B there is the dreaded train or bus trip but believe me it will be worth it in the end.We had emails from little Karin Andreas and a call from big Karin to let us know you got away safely and on time, had that you had a great time and they loved having you.So enjoy the moment even if you need to be thawed out when you get back,Love you both Mum and Dad
Isn't the history amazing. It is hard to beleive that most of the old buildings are technecally older than Australia, well older than colonised Australia at least.
ReplyDeleteHello Ralf & Sam, the weather changed here after you leaving Germany. Saturday morning we had - 11.5 degree and around cologne we had 150 Km traffic.
