Hello guys well we are on the famous Bolt Bus at 33rd and 7th ready to leave for Washington DC, last night we went to see Mama Mia on Broadway and it was Fantastic a very high energy dancing and singing show! beforehand we went to dinner at a place called the stardust club where aspiring actors and singers serve tables and sing songs as you eat, it was a wonderful prelude to the show and really got us in the mood for the show.
Ok more details on our NYC trip now the Top of the Rock ( Rockafeller Centre was amazing much better than the Empire State Building as its closer to downtown Central Park etc and the decorations and lights on 5th avenue are beautiful, the Museum of natural history is huge and we went to the planatarium show which apparently was good ( I fell asleep when they turned the lights off, Sam said my snoring added to the whole experience!! )
We then walked through Central Park and tried to take a picture of those pesky squirrels but man they never stop moving!
We are both really tired and i have a little cold ( yes trish i would like some tissues !! ) but all in all we are doing ok, Washington should prove to be amazing, and if i see a quaker as we go through Pennsylvania Vic ill take a photo!

Wow - it sounds spectacular. Ralfy - I think you need to work on the accent a bit more - you sound like Bugsy! All you are missing is the Machine Gun.
ReplyDeleteConsidering Steph is the only one out of the three doing any house cleaning - she does deserve good presents!
Off to work - on call today - finally getting my first weekend home Tomorrow!!! I can't wait.
I'm excited about you coming home - but want you to stay longer - it means I get to stay here longer!
Love

Wah wah wah - I've got a cold, I'm tired, poor me! Business Class, around the world, amazing places, incredible sites, trip of a lifetime, sharing it with your wonderful wife - no children! You need more than a tissue fella! Get over self....
ReplyDeleteAnyhoo - still want a picture of squirrels! Try the sports selection on the camera. If you run the dial to I think it is a stylized picture of a person running - you can actually get the squirrel in focus and then click and keep your hand on the button. It will take up to about 20 frames at once so you are bound to get one good photo. Probably should have told you that for your rangers game - didn't think about it.
Well - not long till you depart the cold and will be in the warmth of Vegas. Hope you didn't post all your warm weather gear home. It is a beautiful sunny 4 degrees to 18 degrees. And yes that is Celsius. You will positively roast in comparison! Have fun in Washington and catch up on some sleep on the bus.
Love
