Good Morning Lovelies!
ReplyDeleteGlad that you are in safe and sound and wonderful to hear that you can hand over the money to somebody! Wuhoo!

Willl try to write something a little longer before we go but wanted you to have something at least here on the blog!

Hello Again !
ReplyDeleteWell - it does sound like you guys are having interesting times! Sorry to hear that you didn't get the upgrade to London - but at least you are now exactly where you have been planning to be for such a long time. I have an app on my Iphone now that is keeping track of the times of where you are and we are pretty sure that according to the itinerary you are off to the Tattoo tomorrow night! Sounds so exciting.
Don't forget if you are touring the castle you have to be there for 1pm - that is the time that they shoot the canon to let everyone set their watches and clocks. Of course it is one! They don't want to waste too many canon balls!
The other thing is - don't forget Heather Ale. You know how much I am sooo not a bear drinker. Well - when we were in Edinburgh Alex had a Heather Ale and I liked it so much I polished it off. It really was wonderful.
Alex says too - if you like Indian - Edinburgh is the place to be. I'd not had Indian really before and we went to two different places and the food was sensational. They even had places where you could sit at the low tables on all the cushions if you wanted to. It was a fab experience. But Alex says it is some of the best in the world that she has tried and she would go back again just for the Indian food!
Breakfast - don't forget to try the black pudding. Not bad. Couldn't stomach the kippers though!
Well - we are now off to hair. Looking forward to some photos of you all. Oh - don't forget to tell us what the temperature is like. We were there about two weeks after the Tatoo and it was getting cool then.
Lots and heaps of love

Hey again lovelies!
ReplyDeleteWell - we both have beautiful hair and are now back home. A git of storm looks like it is in the brewing.
Steph has taken Boo to the beach - she rang earlier to find his lead and is going to drop in when she comes home.
Alex is recovering well. At least today I can hear her voice - yesterday even yelling it was like a whisper.
Forgot to tell you -we bought several small gift swords when we were in Edinburgh - they make wonderful letter openers and are very easy to pack!
Hope you get to wander around today. Enjoy the royal mile - there are so many places to explore in there and every store has something wonderful to see.
Lots and heaps of love
