Hi Everyone well here we are in steamy Singapore, well at the hotel anyway, we got a lovely surprise at the airport with our first long haul flight being upgraded from Premium Economy to Business Class very nice thankyou very much!!
We are settling down to a good nights sleep now ready to do some exploring tomorrow, Mini Meco is already having a ball having tasted the delights of the Qantas lounge and enjoying the flight and as you can see also the red wine! he has taken up residence on the bed now and is ready for a sleep!

Good Morning loverlies! Business class looked awesome and your room looks fab. So a short hop to Singapore and you are now ready to get into the swing of your holiday. Ralf - we hope that you have calmed down now and can chill - Sam - we hope that you are chilling with as much wine and alcohol as Mini Meco! And how sweet did he look on that bed! And hey - all that wine is great for the antioxidant levels!!

ReplyDeleteTig showed me your blog very briefly this morning. Sorry that I didn't get to message you a farewell yesterday - you know some days - they just turn to hell in a hand basket! And then as I was walking out at 6.15 - another emergency and some several hours later (around 10) I was walking out the door again!
Your room looks wonderful! Love the photo's of mini Meco swanning around the place - and my - didn't Business Class look the absolute best! Tig says Rufus is taking it all in his stride. I've just been speaking to her on the phone this morning - apparently he came over (with permission) for a run and very politely went home again when asked. He is calm and not doing that poor me thing at all - of course - having Gerv there is obviously great for him - someone to have around all day! Wuhoo!!!
Well lovelies - have a wonderful time and don't forget the Singapore sling! Also - try a Lassie (no Ralfy - not a Laksa) - it is usually made with fruit and is blended with ice (sometimes coconut milk) - I absolutely adore them! And Sam - if you are into spicer foods - Tigs favourite is the Chilli Crab!
