We went over to Sentosa Island today which is like a mini Disneyland with all the rides etc we had a ball but had to leave early as we fly out tonight and are catching up with a couple that we mnet on the plane for tea.

ReplyDeleteLove the hot weather - I am missing it. We had rain this morning and wind this afternoon. So - no more furniture restoration - maybe tomorrow.
Have to name the pictures:
Ralf with the weight of the world on his shoulders (I know - you are going to say it is Hercules)
Ralf with no idea (although you need to look closer at the photo - your leg position is hmm... interesting??)
And Sam - can't go past Princess Ballerina!
Have a ball at dinner and fingers are crossed for you both for check in and flight........ will it be business class?? Even if it isn't - at least in Premium Economy you are going to have a good amount of room.

Hey you two - I am just sitting here waiting for some blood tests to come back before I leave. I can't believe that as I was posting to your last blog you were posting a new one - it was literally within a minute of each other! So - is it one of those pinky swear times??? I do believe so!
ReplyDeleteHot weather - I would love it too. Guess who now has the same cold that Tig had a couple of weeks ago......it certainly took its time to settle in and of course - had to play up for my on call. My registrars could hardly hear my voice on the phone! And how rude was this - apparently Maxi Meeks was growling at me in his sleep because I was growling (apparently I had a chesty wheeze). He really is a funny little man.
Still hoping to go to the Ekka tomorrow - I walk past it every night when I go to the car and it looks soooo much fun. I just know though that Tig is going to hear my voice (well - the lack there of ) and go nope...... hmmm
I love the photo's - but Ralfy what have you done to your elbow? Is it playing up again as I can see you have it strapped?
Well - results are in and it is time for me to go. I just loved the photo's - beautifully posed for you two and sooooo creative! Excellent work!

ReplyDeleteFor us - no Ekka this year - Alex's cold is now worse than mine was and I am suprised that she made it home yesterday. When she has a voice it is a little like Darth Vader!
We had pumpkin soup for dinner last night - I made up a huge batch so that I could give some to Gerv. I am sure he could last a week on it - I know that it was over 7 litres of soup! So - your pumpkin numbers are dwindling!

Hey loverlies! Boo Boo says good morning! He and Meeks went for a big run around our paddock. I forgot to tell you - I got the orange mower into just about everywhere so they have a great field to run in and so they went chasing ducks and pluvers and had an absolute ball.
ReplyDeleteBack to beautiful weather today - so hopefully I can get the girl out into some sun and get her on the road to recovery as soon as possible.
Oh - and by the time you get home - I finally should have my horse web site up and running - that is the goal while I'm on holidays! Tee Hee.

ReplyDeleteIt is almost 6am London time and you will have landed and got your bags and found where to get your connection. Only another 2 hours to go and you will be on your way to Edinburgh!
So welcome to London - hopefully you had a window seat and got a nice view of London in the morning. It is nearing 3 in the afternoon here.
The house is looking magnificent and Gerv has got much of the back and side done - wow - it looks almost brand new!
Don't forget your footy tips!!!! The are due in by the time you get to Edinburgh!!

Sounds like you had a great afternoon - pity the Satay sticks repeated a little. Gerv wants to know if it was quality or perhaps quantity that did it?? He asked specifically for this to be put on the blog!
And who would have ever considered that a country would change its money! We were only looking at it - it is only just over 3 years since we were there last! Just bring it home and we will work it out when you get back. Just put it down to contributing to the wonderful tapestry of the trip!
