So hopefully the drive went well and you had a ball at Stirling Castle. So you are now tucked up in bed in your first B&B for the trip in Perth. Lets hope it is a wonderful place and that you have a wonderful breakfast in the morning!
The Treasure Hunt goes something like this:
Inverness was actually one of the strongholds of the Picts - so find the girls something Pict'ish!.
And recommendations for Inverness include eating at the Mustard Seed which is 16 Fraser Street Inverness. Lunch and dinner there are usually a set price for entree and main. I think it is something like 10pound for Dinner and something like 6 pound for lunch.
So - Alex is home today - apart from being confined to quarters with her cold - we have had a wonderful weekend. She is on the mend today and she can nearly speak. Well - lets say it - squeak.
Have a wonderful day today driving towards Inverness. The drive is just stunning. The mountains through Ben Lommand National park are just awesome! Enjoy and have a wonderful day.
Hello lovelies - well tis a very very crappy day here! Massive gusty winds and plenty of showers is making it very much like a good Scottish Highland day!
The house is looking amazing - Gerv is doing all the batons under the roof at the back and it is smashing! Thank goodness he is under cover for this week otherwise it would make it very very uncomfortable!
It is such a shame that the weather is soooo crappy this week - this is supposed to last until Thursday or Friday. The tides are just perfect at the moment for early morning runs at the beach for the boys - but no luck this week.
Well - have a wonderful day spent exploring the Scottish Highlands and be sure to drop into a distillery or two!
Dear BB and Ralfy, So glad to hear the Tattoo Ticket drama got sorted out. I am sure Ralfy did a great job sweet talking, we all know he is soooo good at that!! Hope you are enjoy your drive down to Inverness. Can't wait to see photos of the beautiful countryside. How special for your Juniors to be sharing this amazing journey with you guys. I bet they are just as excited as I am, every time I turn the computer on to see what you have been up to today. Safe travels and good direction giving BB!!!! Love you lots Lynn xoxo
Loved the photos of the tattoo, pity there was only three of them. I am sure I will see lots more on your return. Just realised that you may have school children reading your blog over the coming weeks so I will behave from now on. Still have the chickens cant find a sharp axe, only joking!
Me again, forgot to mention got the footy results out, although I did not receive three of them. Time will tell whether I have stuffed up or not but last Friday I lost the whole system for some strange reason and didn't get it back for about three hours. Just for your info Ralf The quote of the week was doesn't rain in Queensland at this time of the year. (R Marx) 1 inch later!
Well we are off on our second adventure trip and would love you to join us as we explore the UK and the beautiful countryside of Tuscany.
We look forward to sharing it with you and reading your comments. Ralf and Sandra
